BehemotH's Sculpture
One of the characters of Woland's team from the most popular book by Mikhail Bulgakov looks upon the guests from the ceiling - more about the sculpture by prof. Anna Wysocka available here, in our description of the hall, we will focus on other elements.
Quietly, we must point out to two things about it: the first is that before the opening of the restaurant, a lot of children have been visiting us ... We have been checking how they react, worried about their opinion about - be what you have - rather a monstrous sculpture, but with opinions like "what a nice cat" , we really guarantee that there is nothing to be afraid of.
The second secret is that the sculpture weighing more than 140kg was hung by six adult men. First, four of them were trying to hang it, but since they did not manage, more people offered help. Please imagine how difficult the whole procedure was to realise…
Master and Margarita's Library
We move into the further part of the Behemoth's hall.
On the wall opposite to the windows, there is a master and margarita's library, and more than 2000 volumes of books are available for guests who have library cards. Among the books - core of world literature and many other interesting itemss.
Two SECRET doorS
In the bookshelf with the books there are two hidden doors.
In the middle of this over 600-year-old mansion, there is a cosy patio. This place has been created for business meetings or romantic dinners.
The second door leads to ... The toilet. It would be too simple to be included in the description of the hall, wouldn't it? So, there are graphics of an artist well known in Toruń: Andrzej Poprostu. He has drawn the Woland's team in his very characteristic style.
It is worth visiting every corner of our restaurant, in the least expected places you can find unique things.
